PRCA of West Alabama was established in 1989.
It is one of six
chapters in the state with approximately 45 members and was
honored by the state organization in 2007 as Chapter of the
Year. The membership represents
non-profit organizations,
manufacturers, consultants, government and private-sector
employers. PRCA was formed in 1957 to formulate and promote the
objectives and functions of the public relations profession. PRCA
is a professional forum for the exchange of ideas, an organization
dedicated to helping you grow personally and professionally
through monthly programs, annual meetings and competitions, and
educational workshops. More than 500 people are members of PRCA
statewide. We are affiliated with the Southern Public Relations Federation
(SPRF), a network of public relations professionals from Alabama,
North Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.
